Orange Blossom Festival 2006
Davie Area Land Trust Chair Linda Greck and Board Member Doris Monier flank the booth at Davie's Orange Blossom Festival, February 25-26, 2006.
The orchids were donated by Board Member and former Chair Nick Maniatis, and were sold and auctioned to raise funds.
Many members shared booth duties over the weekend, including Fred Segal, John LaDue, and Marcie Nolan. All reported lots of membership inquiries, strong sales of our frisbees, t-shirts, and orchids, and a great location adjacent to (and downwind of ) the food court. Nobody had to go hungry.
Thanks to all who volunteered and helped setup, staff, and breakdown our booth. We'll have a full report at the next meeting.
